Studio Policies:

Cancellation of Lessons: You must give 24 hours notice for cancellation of all private lessons. If you do not give 24 hours notice we have the right to charge you for your teacher's lost time.

Check in: Upon your arrival at the studio, whether it is for a private lesson, group lesson, or social dance, please sign in at the front desk.

Dress code: Although there isn't a strict dress code at Mende Dance Studio we do suggest Business Casual. Use common sense: wear something comfortable enough to dance in, it is difficult to concentrate on learning when you are preoccupied with tugging at hems and tripping over lengthy skirts or pants. And of course do not wear sneakers or any other rubber bottomed shoes - they will restrict your movement on the dance floor. We suggest that if you are going to be dancing on a regular basis that you invest in sensible dance shoes available for sale at the Studio.

Payment: For your convenience we take cash, and personal checks. Sorry, no credit or debit cards. All lessons must be paid for in full, before the start of each lesson. Students taking blocks of lessons or a lesson package must have their payments up to date. If a student has an outstanding balance they will not be allowed to take lessons. All lessons, both private, and group, are non-transferable.
